Movie Quote Monday

Good morning!

I'm starting things off with a movie quote that is sung. Can you name the movie and the character?

"I want the world. I want the whole world. I want to lock it all up in my pocket. It's my bar of chocolate. Give it to me now. "

Go.

Yee Haw? And you say you're not a morning person!

Yours is My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

Mine:
“You want to compare brainpans? I won the Westinghouse prize when I was 12, big deal. Published at 19, so what. I got a double doctorate from MIT at 22, Chemistry and Geology. I taught at Princeton for two and a half years. Why do I do this? Because the money's good, the scenery changes and they let me use explosives, ok?”

Here's another quote from the same movie: Owen Wilson says this one.

“I'm great, I got that "excited/scared" feeling. Like 98% excited, 2% scared. Or maybe it's more. It could be, it could be 98% scared, 2% excited but that's what makes it so intense, it's so - confused. I can't really figure it out.”

Big names in this movie: Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler...

Is it Armageddon?

If so, here's mine:

"You traveled the world... Now you must journey inwards... to what you really fear... it's inside you... there is no turning back. Your parents' death was not your fault. Your training is nothing. The will is everything. If you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal, you become something else entirely. Are you ready to begin?"

My best guess is "Stranger than Fiction" But I am not absolutely sure. I couldn't find it anywhere on line. Here is one to throw into the mix.

"When you need me, but do not want me, then I will stay. When you want me, but do not need me, then I have to go."

Nanny McPhee! I loved that movie!

Here's mine:
T: "Are you sure we should be driving like this, I mean in broad daylight and everything?"
L: "No we shouldn't, but I want to put some distance between us and the scene of our last crime."

Thelma and Louise.

Mine:
“Marry her? You don't just walk up to a girl, hand her a bouquet and say, "Hey, remember me? We were kids together. Will you marry me?" No, it just isn't done that way.“

The next line is:

"Ah, come on, Robby. Climb the castle walls. Sweep her off her feet. Carry her off in style."

This is animated.

Don't tell me. We're about to go over a huge waterfall.
Yep.
Sharp rocks at the bottom?
Most likely.
Bring it on.

And from the same movie

A llama? He's supposed to be dead!

Yeah Weird!
