Well, I was getting ready for another rousing game of Movie Quote Monday -- and I came up blank. I think I've used up all the movies in my brain - and even checking around through movie quotes online, I kept thinking that we'd already used that one. And that one. And even that one.
So I think I'm going to shelve MQM for now - at least until I get some more movies under my belt. I've been playing around with a music lyric game - but I'm still trying to figure out how to do it on the blog. Maybe later I'll introduce something like that.
A great big thank you to everyone that's played over the last three months - it's been a blast. If I could have you all over for a movie night, I would. I make a great bag of microwave popcorn.
If Movie Quote Monday could talk, this is what it would say:
"Oh, you're the best friends anybody ever had. And it's funny, but I feel as if I'd known you all the time, but I couldn't have, could I?"

I have NO CLUE what movie that's from. Not even the genre of the movie! But I have to say, I'll miss MQM. I've only actually played once, but I read and enjoyed faithfully every week! Thanks for the great entertainment!
Yes! I know it! I did double check to be sure but I know it!! I read it a few hours ago and it was so familiar...then when I was cleaning up it just came to me!

this news is sad. I will miss mqm ALOT. the music lyric game will definitely NOT be my forte...I never even know who sings anything let alone know the lyrics. it should be fun for everyone to laugh at me though! hee hee
Wendy, remember about 13 years ago we played that at my house with Mat and Noelle and Kim and Dave? I was a blast, can't wait til the Computer version makes its way to us.

Angi - I remember playing that. We still have the game, and I got a version of Catch Phrase that is all music. I kick butt at stuff like this.
I can't decide about the music lyric game for the blog though. People's tastes are so vastly different - I think we'd stump each other everytime. I can't do all 80's - there are some young readers here. So I'm just thinking about it for now.
Anyway...it was good to know y'all weren't too terribly tired of it.
